Softer water, far less upkeep.
The salt system makes chlorine from ordinary spa salt with a replaceable titanium cartridge, so the water feels softer on skin and gentler on eyes, with fewer harsh chemicals. With proper care, the water can stay fresh for up to a year between drain and refill cycles.
FreshWater IQ

How much does a Caldera hot tub cost?

Pricing is given in person. Book a consultation with Ebony and she will go over pricing for the models that fit your space, needs and budget.

Are all Caldera hot tubs saltwater?

No. Utopia spas come standard with the FreshWater Salt System. Paradise spas (2019 and newer) and Vacanza spas (2025 and newer) can add it as an option. Fantasy spas use the FROG sanitizing system and are not saltwater compatible.

Can I add a salt system to a Paradise or Vacanza hot tub?

Yes. Paradise spas made in 2019 or later and Vacanza spas made in 2025 or later can have the FreshWater Salt System added. Ask Ebony what applies to the spa you're considering.

What is the FreshWater Salt System?

It is Caldera's salt-chlorine generator. It makes chlorine from salt to keep water softer and clearer with fewer harsh chemicals, for up to a full year between drain and refill cycles.

Which Caldera hot tub is best for a small space?

The Vacanza Aventine is a two-person tub made for small spaces and corners. The Utopia Ravello and Paradise Kauai each seat 3. Ebony can help you measure your options.

Which Caldera hot tub seats the most people?

In the Utopia series, the Cantabria seats 8. The Niagara, Salina and Reunion each seat seven. Ebony can help you weigh seating against the space you have.
